May 2010 rides are already being listed under events. We'll be gauging interest for events like: Greenbriar Trail Overnight B&B Trip, Virginia Creeper Overnight, Silver Comet Day Trip or Overnight.

We are a cheerful group of women of all ages and abilities who like to get together and ride bikes.

MONDAY NIGHT RIDES Are Happening

Spring through fall (when we have daylight) we gather every Monday evening at 5:45 at the post office in Whittier, North Carolina for group rides.

3 Monday Evening Rides - Women Only Rides

• 8 mile (mostly flat) ride for beginners or people looking for an easy evening
• 13 mile ride with about 4 good hill climbs
• 17 mile ride with 6 climbs

All Monday rides are no-drop (We stop at all intersections and at the top of every hill.) We decide each night which loops we will do based on the comfort level of the riders who come out to play! Each loop offers ways to extend it as well should people be feeling spry on a given evening.

We welcome women on bikes of all kinds - mountain, road or hybrid. NC law requires riders to wear a helmet. Whether you are a local rider or are visiting from out of town, you are welcome to join us! We have riders of all ages - racers out for a cruise, mothers towing their children, teenagers, seniors, you name it!
